Divorce when overseas Australian property lawyer

“What is the process if I live overseas and have property and superannuation in Australia and am looking to separate”

The short answer is, you really should obtain some legal advice regarding the whole process because you may find that you’re entitled to a larger portion of the property pool than what is currently reflected in terms of your legal ownership and of course, there are some jurisdictional issues as well depending on where your ex-partner lives and where you’re living and whether there’s any other property located outside of Australia, so certainly obtain independent legal advice.
