On Saturday 26th October, was the Surrogacy and Donor Awards in which Sarah won Professional Service Provider of the Year.
The Australian Surrogacy and Donor Week (ASDW) is an annual event dedicated to recognising and celebrating the journeys of families who engage in surrogacy and donation, both locally and internationally. This week-long initiative highlights the significance of altruistic surrogacy and donation of sperm, embryos, and eggs in Australia, providing educational resources and community support for surrogates, donors, intended parents, and recipient families.
The ASDW is an opportunity to learn and share incredible stories and experiences shared by the Australian surrogacy community.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and raise awareness about the options available to families considering surrogacy and donation”, says Sarah Bevan.
One of the most significant highlights of ASDW is the inaugural Australian Surrogacy and Donor Awards, honouring businesses, advocates, and professionals who contribute to the success of surrogacy and donation in Australia. Sarah Bevan of SB Family Lawyers was delighted to be nominated amongst her peers who were themselves recognised for their achievements and efforts in the Surrogacy and Donor community.
We are proud to recognise Sarah Bevan from SB Family Lawyers, who has been awarded the title of Professional Service Provider of the Year. This accolade highlights Sarah’s commitment to assisting families throughout their surrogacy and donor journeys, advocating for the legal rights and protections of all parties involved in the process. Her dedication ensures that families can pursue their dreams of parenthood with confidence and security.
Sarah was an integral person who helped with The Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill 2024 [NSW] which was recently passed.
