What does an initial consultation cost with a family lawyer

Our cost for an initial consultation depends on the lawyer you see (based on their experience level and accreditation), and the length of the appointment.

For initial appointments up to 30 minutes:

Cost starts at $150 incl of GST
Applicable for divorce, adoption, surrogacy, child support, some parenting enquiries.

For initial appointments up to 1 hour:

Cost starts at $220 incl of GST
Applicable for property/financial enquiries, most parenting enquiries, and more complex enquires that are unlikely to be covered by a 30 minute appointment.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help work out with you the most appropriate appointment for your individual circumstances.

There is also a possibility of a free meet and greet appointment (no advice given) up to 15 minutes with our lawyers (except this is not available for Sarah Bevan).
