Dalya has a particular interest in high net worth property matters and complex financial disputes. She is known for her analytical, numbers-focused approach to asset division and financial settlements, with extensive experience dealing with intricate property structures, business interests, trusts and competing financial claims. She regularly works alongside valuers, financial advisors, forensic accountants and other experts to ensure matters are approached strategically and thoroughly.
Clients value Dalya’s straightforward communication style, practical advice and ability to efficiently progress matters toward resolution. She is focused on achieving sensible, commercially minded outcomes while guiding clients through what is often a highly stressful period with clarity and confidence.
“Family law is an inherently emotional area of law for the people living through it. I believe a lawyer’s role is not to become emotionally involved, but to remain focused on strategy, resolution and achieving the best possible outcome for the client. Clear thinking and practical advice are essential during what is often a very difficult time.”
Dalya is recognised for her collaborative approach to dispute resolution and is currently completing her Master of Laws, majoring in Family Dispute Resolution Practice, further strengthening her expertise in negotiating outcomes.
Outside of practice, Dalya enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, whether that involves trips to the zoo, outdoor activities, or shopping adventures together. Family life keeps her grounded, busy and full of perspective.
